Humphry and Jane have a happy and home-loving family with three adult children and many friends of all ages. Jane is a Cambridge English graduate and lawyer. Humphry teaches English and ‘cello. One of our sons is a music technology graduate and IT Manager in a local media company. Another is disabled and lives in a residential home. Our daughter is a Research Editor and lives in Ediburgh.

WE PROVIDE

A welcoming atmosphere, living as family, with all meals
A comfortable, quiet and warm bedroom (pictured below)
Private bathroom (bath and shower), and separate toilet
Private living room for relaxation, with TV and library
Use of computer with web, e-mail, webcam
Grand piano and other musical instruments
Pleasant secluded garden, with croquet and table tennis
Accommodation for 2 students of the same English level

THE OLD STUDIO

The Old Studio is a spacious comfortable family home in the centre of Cranbrook. It is within walking distance of supermarket, shops, chemist, doctor, churches and schools, museum, library, pubs, cafés, sports centre and woodland walks.
